By purchasing and/or using Kiwiness Tours you agree to be bound by the
following terms and conditions:
Bookings & Pricing
- Advanced bookings are recommended.
- Prices are in New Zealand Dollars and are inclusive of General Service Tax (GST).
- Child age is 17 years or younger.
- Adult age is 18 years or older.
Payments
50% deposit for all bookings is required to confirm booking.
- Bank transfer: payments can be made directly into Kiwiness Tours Ltd bank account. Kiwiness Tours holds no responsibility for international bank transfer fees associated with choosing this method.
- Cash on arrival.
- Merchant facilities available via our website booking system including Visa, Mastercard, Amex, Alipay and WeChat Pay.
Luggage
- Fare includes standard Baggage (1x large bag & 1x carry bag p/p). Excess baggage or additional sports equipment needs to be communicated to Kiwiness Tours as it will be subject to space availability.
- A luggage trailer can be arranged at an extra cost.
Infant Seats
- Please advise if an infant seat is required, as this can be arranged at a cost if adequate notice is given.
Cancellation
In the event, you have purchased a tour and subsequently wish to cancel it,
Kiwiness Tours may refund your booking at its sole discretion, in which event
you will be charged a cancellation fee as follows:
- • 6+ days prior to departure date of the tour 100% refund minus the cost of any booking fees and charges.
- 3-5 days prior to the date of the tour – 50% of your ticket plus any booking fees and charges.
- 24 hours or less will be charged 100% of the ticket. 24 hours or less will be charged 100% of the ticket.
Effective communication between both parties is recommended for best practice
surrounding cancellations. Discretion and further arrangements for unforeseen
circumstances such as illness and flight disruptions will be taken into account by
Kiwiness Tours.
Changes
- Changes to reservations must be made at least 24 hours prior to departure.
- All reservations and changes must be made by contacting Kiwiness Tours directly by phone and email. Discretion will be used for any changes needed within that timeframe.
- Kiwiness Tours reserves the right to vary any fares, routes, overnight stops, pricing, inclusions, accommodation operators, departure dates, times and locations without notice.
- Kiwiness Tours reserve the right to substitute other vehicles in place of our own.
Liability
Kiwiness Tours shall not be liable for any loss or damage of any kind, including indirect or consequential loss or damage, arising directly or indirectly out of a cancellation or abandonment of, or delay to any trip however, caused.
Kiwiness Tours will not be liable for the sickness of, injury to, or death of, any passenger, or the loss of, or damage to, any personal effects, whether caused by Kiwiness Tour’s negligence or otherwise. There is no travel insurance cover included in the price of a tour and Kiwiness Tours recommends that you obtain travel insurance to cover any sickness, injury, or loss that may occur while you are travelling with Kiwiness Tours.
Where the services of another operator are provided as part of the Kiwiness Tours it is agreed and understood that Kiwiness Tours has no responsibility whatsoever for any default of that operator.
These terms and conditions are governed by the law of New Zealand and
you and Kiwiness Tours agree to submit to the jurisdiction of the courts of
New Zealand in any dispute. Nothing in these terms and conditions affects
your rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993.
Kiwiness Tours will not be liable for breach of, or any failure to perform its
obligations under, these terms and conditions where such breach or failure is
caused by anything beyond Kiwiness Tours’ reasonable control.
